Origin: Europe Horehound is used to treat respiratory, digestive and skin conditions, as well as to relieve coughs, bronchitis, asthma and menstrual problems.
To prepare the horehound infusion, the dried leaves and flowers are used. The proportion is one teaspoon per cup of water (250 ml). Boil the water, remove it from the heat and add the dry herb. Let it rest for a few minutes and then strain it. You can also use horehound baths; they are recommended for certain skin conditions.
